Talk Now SA

Another weekend is coming to a close with a new week starting. This past week was eventful in that it was interesting to read the coverage that Julian received due to his appearance in Vogue. I was asked over the weekend whether this kind of coverage goes to Julian's head or not. Just in case you may have been wondering the same thing, the answer to that question is definitely not. As mayor of the seventh largest city in the country as well as being a father and husband, there is far to much to occupy his mind and time than to take in the coolness of appearing in Vogue. Don't worry I'm making sure he continues to stay grounded no matter who writes an article about him.

It was pretty neat that my blog website link made an appearance on the main page of underneath a story that was written about the magazine article. So, I am looking forward to having many more new followers of my blog reading about my experiences. I know that I have been very lucky to have been able to experience many once in a lifetime opportunities these past four years and I have enjoyed going to work the next day and sharing my stories with colleagues or with my close friends over dinner or lunch. Now, with my blog I look forward to sharing my experiences with all of you out there. I love hearing a great story and I am sure you do to, so, I'll do my best to keep them coming.

I'm looking forward to this week because I'll be a guest on Talk Now SA with Chris Duel this week at the new Silver Fox Studios. I'll admit I'm a bit nervous being on a talk radio show, but, I'm more excited than anything else. This will only be my second radio show that I have ever done so I can't say I have had plenty of practice with this. My goal is just to have fun and try not to ramble. So, be on the look out for a blog posting about my experience on the show!

I wish you all a great week!

  1. Wow....that sounds excited good luck on the radio show.

  2. Mrs. Castro,

You are so gracious with your time to sit down with me and the people of San Antonio (and the globe via the Internet) on Wednesday evening.

I appreciate the opportunity to have an in-depth, informal conversation with you.

Drop me a message, I'd love to hear from you!
